furtechWow-- pretty decent earthquake just now. Very close (by the type of shaking). I'm guessing about 4.5-ish? And epicenter around Sylmar. Still feeling some residual rumbling. Not even strong enough to toss stuff off the shelf, but certainly noticeable-- perfect "tourist quake".
EDIT: Yep! Pegged it: 4.5 NNW of Chatsworth. I got the distance right, but it was in the opposite direction, putting it around Towsley Canyon (where we hike a lot). Probably shook some boulders loose: not a great place to be during even a small tembler!
