Although werewolf legends say that the way to tell a werewolf from a regular wolf is that a werewolf-wolf has no tail. Aesthetically, I vote for tails in spite of folklore rules.

Ditto!! (Coming from the tail fetish kitty..) You're just not as pouncable if you don't have a tail I don't think. :p

That only applies to the four-footed variety of werewolf though. Anthro 2-legged monkey-swinging werewolves are exempt.
