My heads still a-swirl from the con, so report later. For now, filler!

One of my favorite voice actors is Patrick Warburton. I can safely say that you've heard his voice: he has a rich, deep voice that can be suave (numerous "news anchor" roles) to thug-like (Kronk from Emperor's New Groove/School). Amazingly, he is one of the few voice actors who -looks- like his voice sounds: tall, square-chinned and burly. In a less-known role (but SO PERFECT) he played The Tick in the short-lived live action series on Fox. His voice is amazing and his timing is -perfect-! Plus, despite the distinctive sound of his voice, he can play so many roles (great actor).

I just came across a short clip of him in one of the "Get A Mac" series of commercials (AdFreak has them all in one place-- I find them hilarious, but I have owned macs from the beginning). In one commercial, Patrick Warburton appears as a top-of-the-line-PC. He's only on-screen for a few seconds, but he's -perfect-!

This has nothing to do with anything other than I just found the commercial and wanted to share...

Squeak-squeeker-squeakem-squeak?

It's good to have that deep, smooth, lugubrious voice - but the _real_ gift is the ability (and the willingness) to deliver such lines which are either totally in-character with that voice,...or totally, perhaps brazenly contrary to what you would expect. That's the delight.
