I wonder if they're going to sell off any of the actual animal costumes from Mr. Fox? I may try to call them and ask. Could be a lot of cool costumes and accessories there. Just imagine-- a *real* opera cape!

Seattle? No, I've been back for a week+. It's a friend's birthday party this weekend and I RSVP'd before I got the notice about the L.A. Opera sale. Border collies and sheep and cake up in the mountains!

If you're going or could go, I'd love to get a phone call: if they -do- have any of the creature costumes, I may well be interested! It's probably a better thing that I don't go: I've already blown my costume-buying budget for this year and I would be sorely tempted by the Elizabethan and Don Giovanni styled costumes (plus, they'd have "fat" sized for guys like me!!).
