furtechMan, I wish I knew about THIS earlier! I really want to make a Tauren costume for it. I'm not surprised that they finally have a WoW con, but I would have thought there would be more publicity. And it's -local-!
Ironically, I neither play WoW nor have the slightest idea what the prize is (I'm a Mac-head). But still! They have a Costume Contest!! An excuse to make a stinky minotaur costume!
Unfortunately, while I could probably poop out a pretty decent costume in that time, they're apparently -sold out- of tickets for the event! There's some mention of "more tickets becoming available in the future" or at the site, but I hate that kind of uncertainty. I'll keep an eye out...anyone else going?
