It Lives!

My computer is *ALIVE*! I have recently started having this problem when I shut my computer down: it "forgets" the internet connection. So I decided to fix it this time by re-installing the OS...which led to half the data disappearing...which led to a circus of technotard-ness...and two days of wrastling with hard drives and OS installations. At one point I had six external drives daisy-chained together because different OS's allowed me to do different things (one connected to the internet, no problem-- but was about six years old...another let me run certain programs in OS9...and another, etc.)

I finally tracked down the problem! And... it would be something that was only peculiar to my set-up I'm fairly sure.

Now that everything is stabilized, I can get my EF trip pics off the camera...all three-thousand+ of them. Woo-hoo!
