So does anyone have any polite suggestions for stuff to do on Superbowl Sunday? I'm not a big football fan, so usually me and my nerdy friends head out to some venue that is normally packed. In the past it had been Disneyland: you could literally -walk- onto rides, even the newer ones. These days, others have figured that one out and D'land is busier than normal on SBS.

The beach? In previous years we'd take the dogs there, but Frieda'd not enjoy it as much these days and few of us are sun-worshipers.

Anyone? Anyone? Class?

Well, in North Carolina here, I hope to go over to CCI and visit the New Guinea Singing Dogs (http://www.conservatorscenter.org/animals/newguinea.html) and their latest batch of pups :)

Do you have any wild animal facility like that nearby?

Aw, man! Singing dog puppies!

Locally, there's nothing (and I refer specifically to the L.A. Zoo). There is the Exotic Feline Breeding Compound and the Desert Museum, but those aren't generally busy anyway (and they're a long drive away). Likely, we will spaz-around for a few hours, then realize it's raining and stay home and clean/work. *sigh*
