So does anyone have any polite suggestions for stuff to do on Superbowl Sunday? I'm not a big football fan, so usually me and my nerdy friends head out to some venue that is normally packed. In the past it had been Disneyland: you could literally -walk- onto rides, even the newer ones. These days, others have figured that one out and D'land is busier than normal on SBS.

The beach? In previous years we'd take the dogs there, but Frieda'd not enjoy it as much these days and few of us are sun-worshipers.

Anyone? Anyone? Class?

It's also Mardi Gras weekend. Don't know if that's your cup of tea, but there may be something going on. Not sure the crowds it would draw, though.

While there's a big Catholic population here in L.A., but unfortunately they're not the Mardi Gras-type. Someday I'll get out to a large Mardi Gras celebration (or at least, Halloween in the French Quarter!).
