Willkommen! EF Wednesday and Thursday

furtechI'm being lazy: I have so much to go through that I'm going to just link to my Flickr photo sets for the corresponding days. There's actually more commentary there than I'd put here anyway, plus you can skip over the boring pictures.
Here's a collage of what's there, though:
Getting There : the flights were mercifully uneventful and not as nightmarish as United Flights have been in the past. Of course, I had to pay $$$ for "Premium" Economy (an oxymoron if ever there was one). I love German airports: so efficient and clean, with plenty of good, cheap food. I also love German postcards. Can't read them, but I'm sure they're hilarious.
Wednesday and Thursday : the con was in full swing Wednesday as I went to register. Huge banners in the lobby added to the breeziness of the large atrium. Plenty of people already in suit, too. I re-discovered how much I love German cuisine, and was exposed to the joy of schnitzel! Speaking of "food", Jimmy Chin's 3am club sandwich has to be seen to be believed-- it'll give you nightmares (literally).
