Cat House!
Apr. 25th, 2010 03:08 pmI recently had the opportunity to visit the home a someone who owns exotic cats. His home is an Animal Planet and cat lover's dream. Nestled in a green valley near Palo Alto, the home is immaculate and located in a hilly area that has a number of hiking trails running throughout.
I was there to get some reference pictures and he was kind enough to let me post those pictures to my Flickr account. He has a servil named Jabari and a desert cat of some kind, a third wild cat species that I can't remember either and one very friendly, boneless domestic cat. Kind of cool to see these big cats (well, little big cats) wandering around the home.
If you need reference pics of servils or desert cats, feel free to check 'em out!
Here is a collage of his servil, Jabari:

Jabari was amazing. He's like a miniature Cheetah in so many ways.
Here is a ser of pics of another of his exotics, the species of which I forget. Once she got used to you, she wasa total pest very accommodating. The collars they are wearing are radio tracking devices: interesting how small they've become with all the new technologies.
