Speaking of V.H.

Sorry to those of you who've seen this before. He can't climb walls, but he’s big and snarly:
werewolf

Here is a larger, more snarly pic (about 200k) . At least he wouldn't have smushed her to death!

Very very nice!
I just want to hug 'em, snug 'em, love 'em, and call him george!

Very cool! :) I think the not climbing walls and swinging like a monkey is actually a plus. :)

He looks soo very cool. Wouldn't mind a big snarly hug from him! ;)

Very cool, even when snarly he looks kind of happy... happy to claw things probably ;)

Have you seen Van Helsing yet? The movie is pretty darn bad, but can be a lot of fun in an MST3K way and the monster designs are quite cool.

And you've read the review right? Makes me die with laughter every time I read it...

Heh, thanks, that was a fun read.

Smushed!

Yep! In fact I think I got to the "review" via your post (thanks!)... Hilarity ensues!

Ooooooh... O.O

Damn that's nice. You do such beautiful work - no doubt about it! :} I fear him for he is not a bunch of pixels ;D

[identity profile] shadowolf.livejournal.com 2004-05-13 02:01 pm (UTC)(link)
Good work as always :) We likes the snarly, yes, we do.

I was lucky to have seen him! Yes, Still awesome...Wow! O.O
Thanks for posting pics! I was distracted when I first saw him so I did not get any pictures of him. Staring and trying not to play the fanboy role *g*

The paws are very neat looking! I hope I get to see him out and about again sometime! I would love to hear about his construction as well if you've ever got the time.

and thank goodness he has a tail too!

[identity profile] furtech.livejournal.com 2004-05-14 12:52 am (UTC)(link)
Although werewolf legends say that the way to tell a werewolf from a regular wolf is that a werewolf-wolf has no tail. Aesthetically, I vote for tails in spite of folklore rules.

[identity profile] negasus.livejournal.com 2004-05-14 11:18 am (UTC)(link)
Ditto!! (Coming from the tail fetish kitty..) You're just not as pouncable if you don't have a tail I don't think. :p

That only applies to the four-footed variety of werewolf though. Anthro 2-legged monkey-swinging werewolves are exempt.

Looks like the Quentin Reference Images I sent you were put to good use. Nice muscles.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I have never used any of your art as reference. Your stuff is decent CG, but it's funky IRL. Full credit goes to this artist:

Jen Seng also did the art that I based my Talbain costume on.

Please don't post on my journal any more. Thanks.
