Fools and full moons

furtechA factoid on CNN (yes, a sad source of knowledge) said tonight's (10-10-03) full moon is referred to as a "Hunter's Moon". Has anyone heard of this term/reference before? It sounds cool, but I have never heard of this in the context of a specific full moon (I'd always thought it was any bright night).
Also, my second favorite musical (after Les Mis) is back! "Scarlet Pimpernal" is going to be at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Center at the end of October/beginning of November!!! Woohoo! I'll even be in town! Now to make plans for a dinner at Cafe Provencal and have a totally Frankish evening!
