Smell and taste are the same. Still, even ad a foodie I'd give those up before I'd give up any of the other senses.

As much as I love food, I would give up the taste/smell. The week I didn't have it back in 2005 do to a bad head cold was cool. At a party I could drink everyone under the table because I couldn't taste the alcohol.

Technically, they are not the same, one just enhances the other when you eat! But I'd have to agree. I'd rather lose those two than the others...

Not really...when you completely block off any air going through your nose/sinuses, there is -no- taste sense. Plugging your nose isn't good enough: there is a lot of back-wash through the back of your sinuses and you'll still "taste", if muted. Block it off completely and you can't taste anything. Taste is just an effect of our sense of smell.
