Tsunami Japan

furtechI'm awestruck and horrified watching the tsunami footage from Japan. A catastrophe in slow motion. The Northridge quake was only (!) a 6.8-- I have a hard time getting my head around an 8.9
The Christchurch photos and the stories coming out of New Zealand were nightmarish; this footage is nearly as terrible to watch. I hope the alarms sounded soon enough to save lives.
