EF 2010: The Costumes

As I've come to expect, there were amazing costumes at EF. People got into the Serengeti/African theme and created props and costumes for their suits that gave the convention flavor.

My favorites for the con were the two hyenas: the female hyena (a favorite from previous years) and the "Joker" hyena-- fantastic job of design and theme. I loved the two Qarrazel kirin costumes (spectacular costumes-- master-works, both). There was an eye-turning lioness costume that I didn't get a picture of, but: wow.

Albrechts joker is awesome. Love the stylish muscles on it, and I'm so not a muscle person.

I love the ears on that rat (and the nose). He has the best and most correct ear shape of any rat suit I've seen.

You're a better photographer than I am, so missed when of the little details on costume on the grey fellow with the horns. Vs a flash, you get green eyeshine.


I'm not sure if that's a happy accident of design or purposeful that you end up with the intense green eyeshine.

I'm seriously beginning to wonder if I attended the same convention that you did; I don't think that I saw even half of these fantastic costumes/suits! What I _did_ see was impressive and inspiring, but...well, your collection of photos just blows me away. I don't think that I even saw Aeto's new creation, though I must have, I saw the parade and he was supposedly in there somewhere.

The Hyenas are cool, and I think that I saw the lioness to which you referred, as we all gathered for the group photo - but I really love that fox and the coyote (or is it a jackal?) next to him.

I think I'll skip playing journalist/reporter next year, and spend time with a camera, hunting 'suiters.
