Saw Warhorse
omg.
Exceeded my wildest expectations. On a determined whim, I dragged Fatkraken to the backstage door and made big eyes at the guard, asking if the stage manager or asst. stage manager could possibly be willing to let us see the puppets. The puppet maintainer, though tired, was a saint: he took us backstage and gave us a grand tour. More on this when I get back and have the pictures sorted out.
Still blown away by the whole evening. (*inarticulate sound*)

Date: 2010-09-11 12:39 am (UTC)Does Warhorse end sadly, like with the horse dying in the end? I'm very curious about the book/movie/play but I don't feel like dealing with animal death right now (this year.)
