Aloha to all the people going to SDCC! I hate not going, but all the signs pointed to this being the right thing to do. I'm hoping for some great trip reports from you guys when you get back!

For those friends participating in the Masquerade, break a leg! Much dog-karma and good-feelings especially to my AGSMA pals! Make us proud!!

Ironically, I've heard from various sources that once the hotel block was lifted, tons of rooms suddenly became available. There -must- be a better way to do this! I'll bet if I tried to get a room today, I could find something well-below the "con rate"! Nertz.

Have fun! Even with the crazy hotel situation, the lousy$$$ parking and the nightmarish crowds, it's STILL THE SDCC! Fun! Stuff to buy (or covet!)

The only thing Saturday is good for is the masquerade, which is always worth seeing if you can manage (advice: watch it in the sails room on the Diamondvision screen-- free pretzels and chips!).
