Hooowl!

Apache was laying on the floor next to me just now, dreaming of something. Suddenly she lifted her head and gave a little howl, "WOOoooooooo," and woke herself up. I've never heard her howl before and because it was a sleep-howl, it was very soft and beautiful. She apparently surprised herself as she woke up looking around with confusion. Adorable.

Mine is not a big barker at all, but will woof in her sleep. With her mouth closed.

So goes "ooof, ooof, ooof" with her lips puffing out like she's blowing up a balloon.

It is adorable.

Oh, I adore the "oof-oof-oof" sleep barking! Apache does it a lot more than R0ndo, but she's always been the bigger somnambulist. Dreaming dogs are love!
