What a fascinating situation (to me, at least).

I'm up late/early, watching the financial world making history (not *good* history, but history none-the-less), emailing reference pictures to someone in Indiana, Georgia and wiring (Paypal, actually) money to a third party in Ireland. And I just witnessed (so to speak) a coordinated fifty-point rate cut by the US, the EU, England, Canada, Sweden and Switzerland-- which was just preceded by seeing Japan's market drop by nearly 10% in one day-- and that was preceded by England partially socializing their financial market. Just over a hundred years ago getting a letter from across the nation in a week was considered outstanding. Amazing times.

Sorry to spam up your friends lists...I guess I'm kind of doofy right now.

Three posts in less than three hours? Yeah, that's a record for you. :)

You know, Google came out with something that will supposedly prevent people from E-MAILING WHILE DRUNK. Maybe they should implement the same for LJ?

(Er... not that I'm accusing you of anything, that is...)

I think the fact that immediate communications anywhere is now possible has made the pace of life somewhat unmanageable. O.o Expectations are that if someone drops you an email, for instance, you will read it and act upon it almost immediately. Think about that expectation and multiply it by every email one has coming in for business and personal reasons and it's a very unrealistic expectation. Yet, it persists especially in business environments.

Hey, could you give me a call (510) 579-3788? I'm the Fursuit Track Lead for FC this year and would like to see if you could do a couple of panels. :)
