The Flight Home Photoset
The baggage carts at the Frankfurt airport are just amazing! The engineering on them is so well-thought out that they can easily go up escalators! In fact, collectors can load an entire line of carts on the escalators!
Unfortunately, they took one look at Steve and I and instead of big-boy carts, we got one of these… ...
The trip home was blissfully uneventful. Apparently Wednesday is a low-travel day: there was no line at security and we got our bags and got through customs in less than an hour!
The highlight of the flight was the segment over Greenland : the air was clear for a long time and I got a lot of pictures of the rugged landscape and the sinuous glaciers covering that land.
And that about does it! Wonderful time at the con, wonderful time in Frankfurt. Glad to be home, though!
