Mar. 20th, 2007 11:55 amSt. Patrick's Day!

The quarterly get-together was last Saturday and the weather was *beautiful*! Clear, blue skies and temps in the low eighties. I was worried that the day would be unpleasantly hot but fortunately the high desert town of El Mirage was very pleasant.
Rondo sported a dapper green scarf (he can count his blessings that I finish his leprechaun costume). Some of the dogs got dog-bling added to them . How could Rondo not sport bling ?

There was a tonne of food: corned beef and cabbage foremost among the food items. I -love- CB&C! Dogs were plentiful, including this beautiful pair of merle border collies (the blue had some serious socialization issues, tho').
There was plenty of dog-fun, too! Due to the heat, water sports were at the top of the list. The pool was very popular , too! The ball chasers especially loved the water!
Get your feet out of my water bowl! vs. Stop drooling in my jacuzzi!
Here's a dog that had too much fun... He and Rondo lived at the hose-squirting spot.
This was where I was given charge of Apache : here's a pic of her brother , who has a more distinct "split-face" marking.
Terrific day! All the more fantastic with the extra passenger we had on the way home! Welcome, Apache !
