Thanksgiving
Nov. 27th, 2003 11:12 pmThis is a working weekend (a long one) for me. I was very grateful to find a few friends to have a pleasant Thanksgiving dinner with this evening. We went to the Odyssey restaurant and were treated to a huge selection of food (their normal brunch fare + traditional Thanksgiving fare). The result was eclectic to say the least: turkey and stuffing; sushi; shrimp and smoked fish; pumpkin pie and creme brule'. The only downside? No leftovers! Or Doggy-bags! My Million-dollar idea: for restaurants to sell leftover units! Anticipating this, I had the foresight to save a pile of tasty leftovers for Frieda, so there was a feast all-around (even though she has no concept of what's up, she's very happy none-the-less).
