Anyone who -isn't- a Bleach fan? The creator of Bleach will be doing autographs...but they're handing out tickets starting on the preview night (wednesday). You have to buy a Bleach item at the Viz booth to get a ticket, one of 50 to be handed out Wednesday night or Friday. I would owe anyone big-time if they could get a ticket...even moresoe if they can manage to get two! You would own me...

Well, I won the bleach fanart contest and have a friend claiming my Kubo autograph. I had a last minute change in housing plans for the summer so I can't go. I will ask my friend if she can nab a ticket or two for you tho.

I may have enough people who are going to try (myself included for the Friday tix), so don't worry about it. I'm guessing that your friend or you know people who'd be -really- happy to get an autograph, so feel free to go that route.

OK, good luck with that! Did I mention, I really admire your costumes, they are simply stunning. I'm currently actually working on a Fox/Wolf head Komamura cosplay and am planning to do Talbain maybe for halloween this year. Keep up the awesome work:)

Thanks for the props! I'd love to see your Komamura and your Talbain when you're done-- do you have a site that you post pics to? I'm in awe that you won the Okami fan art contest: there were so many great entries! My Nine-tail and Okami costume didn't even make the honorable mention list!

okami fan art contest? i don't recall that, just bleach. I don't have a site yet though i will get one up soon. I'll hopefully have komamura done within a few more weeks and am not planning to start on Talbain until I get back down to LA and get settled in my new apartment. BTW, I saw your Okami skit at Fanime, I'm speechless. It was just amazing!

D'oh! I have Okami on the brain...Bleach fan art contest is probably even tougher, considering the fan base! Thanks for the compliment on the Okami skit: the group I cosplay with (AGSMA) is a huge part of that-- it is always a huge team effort. I loved trying out 4-legged costumes for the first time, too-- and had a great person to stick in Okami.

I'll look forward to seeing either/both of your costumes! Everyone has a different take on them and it's great to see the result.
