FD+Mexican Mascots

Made a trip down to the Fashion Disctrict today to find some material. Brought along two friends to initiate them to my FD rituals (lunch in Little Tokyo @ Suehiro Cafe or Curry House and haggling with the dealers).

T was curious about the notorious Bacon-dogs . She actually ordered one and I had a taste. Not bad...needs salt! Oh, yeah: *agh!*-- my HEART!

Also saw a number of shirts, etc. with Mexican soccer mascots. Got these pics for c_eagle!

I like how a bite was taken out of the bacon dog to assure us that you just didn't buy one and chuck it.
How can it need salt tho? It's a hotdog for one.... then bacon on top?

Mmm Curry House, so delicious! I wish we had one up here, but at least we can get the Golden Curry in the grocery store and make our own.

Okay, now I'm going to have to start wrapping my hot dogs in bacon. I haven't yet tried deep-frying bacon yet, but that's another thing I must do sometime. And then deep-frying bacon-wrapped hot dogs... in batter...
