Oh, and this past weekend I met Larry Niven, and he told the stoty of the exploits you shared with him in Japan. Nice guy!

Con was the usual intensive barrage of mind-numbing costuming skills. Almost too much of a good thing being surrounded by such talent. The farm adventures were a lot of fun, maybe more fun than the con (less pressure).

Thank goodness for cops! I also thought all those great pics Richard took were gone forever as well. I can't tell you how happy I was to see them and find that you had such an incredible stroke of luck. Don't bother buying any lottery tickets for a few weeks: you used up a couple of weeks of your "luck" allotment!
