Collie Play

At the BCR Christmas party Rondo found his perfect playmate. I'm not sure -why- he liked her so much: she's a bit timid (maybe just a touch more than he) and likes to play rough (which he normally shies away from). She's a smooth border collie named, "Ellie-May" and she lurved Rondo as much as he did her. When they got tired of rough-housing, they hunted gophers together. Too bad she lives up in the Bay Area!
Dog play!
I didn't get a lot of good ones of the two of them chasing each other-- just blurry shots and lots of tails and parts of heads--but here are pics of the two of them wrastling:

Rondo thinks he can take her...
Nope--Rondo pwned by Ellie-May!
Rondo still hasn't gotten enough: soliciting more play!
Rondo is still learning about play and socializing with other dogs (what becomes of being raised in an apartment by clueless doofesses). His first trip to the dog park (a couple of weeks ago) included him skittering away from a timid chihuahua. He -really- felt comfortable with Ellie-May! Mutual scruff biting-- I never thought he'd play like this so soon.

She isn't really a food hog either, she just kind of nibbles her kibble. He thinks that when he walks her, she finds junk food at a nearby construction site that the workers have left behind.
