Date: 2005-08-31 12:32 pm (UTC)I love wolves/dogs/canids in general, along with their role in folklore (ravening beast, trickster, etc.). I'm just bothered by sentiments along the lines of, "The wolf is a wild creature..." followed by such lines as, "...ew, yuck! He's killing a cute bunny!" or "...No one should own a wolf...we do, but we're *experts* and look how cool we are!"

Date: 2005-08-31 12:45 pm (UTC)I don't really know that much about wolves, so I can't really say as much as you can about it... but it sounds like a pretty pretentious article. Like the authors are trying to glorify themselves through their wolf.
