What I really miss was something which they offered 25 years ago - Fajitas! I think that was also the first time they offered something which was close to a "soft taco", but they were delicious.
I guess that Food is something different for you; I know that you enjoy tasty foods, well-prepared - but you seem sated after having a reasonable portion of it. I find something tasty,...and I just want more and more of it, prolonging all those sensations one has while savoring the taste and texture and aroma of the food, until I just can't eat another bite. I'll order 6 crunchy tacos (or 4 carne asada or carnitas soft tacos, as they are served off the ubiquitous taco trucks found all over LA at all hours of the day or night).
So I envy your ability to take into account the caloric content and the fat and sodium levels, and decide to just "have one or two", no matter how tasty they are. I'm trying to learn how to do that and be content.
At least I am preparing much more of my own meals, and relying less and less on the Fast Food Drive-thrus.
