furtech...was remarkably painless this year. ComiCon has actually finessed the process: you submit a form with your name and the dates and hotel prefs, they process that and THEN you give them credit card info, etc.
There's a lot less "I want to know what I got NOW", but a lot less crashing and hangs because you're not having to do the credit card dance at this point. Plus my usual paranoia about sekrit processes! that makes my gears grind, but still-- no crashing and starting-over, so this is far less frustrating/aggravating. Kudos to Travel Planners.
