Guillermo del Toro has a contest for artists/photographers/whatever for his upcoming film, MAMA Scared Stiff: Bring your scariest childhood memory to life! Deadline is January 9th, 2013. Come on, all my artist/photog friends! Some of the prizes are CASH MONEY!

Fan of Disney animation? Andreas Deja has a blog that is filled with background on Disney features and other animation and art you'll find interesting. He posts a ton of character designs (initial to final) that I've never seen elsewhere. He's the animator behind such characters as Scar, Roger Rabbit, Lilo, Gaston, etc.)
Still got work to do? Check here first for some keen tips that'll make things less torturous
