You know that the current Japanese "power ranger" show has that blue doberman, doggykrueger, right? Take a gander at another side character they're introducing:



Neat design! Too bad they'll probably drop both of them when they bring the show to the US.

I've heard of a show out there, and seen pictures of Doggykrueger, but I don't think I know which show it is.

This is from the current Japanese-airing "sentai" (live-action superhero team) show (what Power Rangers evolved from). The name is "Dekaranger" and you *should* be able to find a Japanese video source for them, possibly even locally. There are a bunch of sites where you can watch them online, but I don't have any bookmarked. Try a google on "dekaranger fansub" or "dekaranger episodes online".

Oooh! I like it! He kind of reminds me of Beakwood from Wild Knights of Gulkeeva. :)
What's that on the tip of his beak though? A medallion or something?

I can see that resemblance. I once thought about doing Greyfast as a costume/cosplay but lost steam when I realized that virtually no one (in any fandom) would recognize what he was from. If you're going to do all that armor, might as well do a Road Rovers set.

If you want to try and find the episode he's from, someone from another community was kind enough to tell me he's mostly from episode 22 in the series. The US version will likely lose both characters in the transition to the English storyline. Be cool if they didn't, though.
