BCR Funday June 2007

furtechTook my last day off from costuming and went to the Border Collie Rescue Funday out in El Mirage (middle of nowhere, USA). I wondered how many people would show up when the weather report predicted temps around 100 and my car thermometer topping 102. Not to worry: lots of people and dogs-- possibly because this was also the farewell party of a very active, longtime member of BCR.
Though topping a hundred degrees, the air was dry and the area was very comfortable. Here's a guy with everything he needs : a ball, a pool and his pals. There was a very graceful, slender foster dog there today. His name is griffen!
Rondo was ready.
Basically a great day off! I'm all re-set and ready to get cracking on the final stretch of construction!
