I was trying to capture a particular expression of his-- a kind of snaggle-toothed "Hruh?" look and took a bunch of pictures...then I saw how they looked as a grid on my iPhoto set and decided to re-create that. The pixilated fence in the background helped, too.

That reminds me- I did this based off of a photo I had of Rondo. I hope it looks like him! If it survives the editing process it'll be in the book!

In the book or not-- that is a *fantastic* drawing of him! You did a stunning job capturing the subtleties of his eyes! If someone showed me -just- the eyes of that drawing, I'd recognize who it was instantly! Wow!
