Channel 7 just did a story about Shambala (tiger/big cat rescue) and "other wild life rescues". Shambala looks like they're going to hold the fort, for better or worse. They claim to have a small army of people ready to defend the place from fire. I'm not so sure this is in any way a good idea, but it's not my compound.
Wildlife Rescue was shown evacuating their animals earlier. Cougars being led into cages (they threw younger men in the cages first)-- that kind of stuff. So I guess they've got things under control.
