On a much happier note, while I was in the Bay Area I took the dogs to Cuesta Park in Mountain View: this is where Border Collie Rescue introduced me to R0ndo for the first time!

I posed him in the same spot where I took his first pictures, three years ago to the day.

Happy (belated LJ post) Adoption Day, R0ndo!

More happy dog-things!

One of the great joys of the return trip from San Jose is a stop at Casa Coyote. The dogs love it and R0ndo starts whining as soon as we turn onto the highway leading up to CC. The home is eminently dog-friendly and we are treated like visiting royalty.

Apache renews her fascination with sheep...sometimes aided by the magnificent Wonderdog, Tay:

In the evening, relaxing after dinner, we heard a rustling sound from the kitchen. Eric had been sure that he had closed the bag so tightly as to preclude unauthorized noshing, but Apache is dauntless:

She looked up at us and then went back to nom, nom, nom. I love my little sheepdog.
