Dogshow

Rondo and I watched the second night of the Westminster dog show. I missed the working group (huskie!), but at least I'd get to see the herding group.

One thing I've learned is that the one group who never seems to enjoy dog shows are the dogs. Rondo is no exception: early into the toy group, he started lobbying not-so-subtly for alternate entertainments:

play?

After that, we came back in and he promptly fell asleep (bean dip was long gone).

When the herding group came on, Rondo was fast asleep. And less excited about the dogshow. I loved watching the Saluki in the background, who seemed only to want to play with the Scottish Deerhound next to her. Like I always say: dog shows would be a lot more fun if the owners just let the dogs run-amuck.
