Pet Expo 2007

Off again to the Pet Expo ...hopefully traffic won't be quite the nightmare it was yesterday. It took almost three hours to drive down there and the crowds at the expo itself were maddening! Still, got to hang out with the BCR group . Today is sandwich delivery and shopping!

FWIW, here's the post I started yesterday, then fell asleep before finishing:

Just back from the Pet Expo down in Orange County (at the fairgrounds in Costa Mesa) with martes. Saturday crowds, horrid traffic and lousy parking logistics meant our time was limited somewhat (at least, we left a little before noon and got in at about 2:30). Roz went wandering while I spent all of my time at the Border Collie Rescue booth with a great dog named " Rocky " (he was very mellow and confident, though a bit overwhelmed by all the crowds/smells/noise).

Pet Expo? Hey, I dont know what's there but if by any chance you could find one of those automatic, repeating ball throwers for Taiko at a reasonable price I'd pay ya back for it.... (The one I found on the internet was about $150- which is too steep for me... $50 I could afford.)

OMG the parking at that thing this year was scarry. I think it is because the dog whisper man was there.
