Ergh... yeah, I just felt something crawl over my bare foot about half an hour ago- it was a roach! *screeeeeech*!!!!! *Was* is the key word, it's got squashed for that...>:P
Roaches are repulsive. I never used to mind them until I was stuck in a roach-infested apartment in NYC for a summer. Now they make my skin crawl. UGH.
Eeeeeaaaarrrghghghghghhhhhh! I tell ya- several SEVERAL years ago for my 16th birthday, I had a slumber party with all my girlies in the downstairs family room in my parent's old tri-level home. I'm terrified of spiders- and it was my luck that while sleeping, one crawled in my ear and made a home there- horribly infecting my ear. I had to go get it flushed out- ugh it was so disgusting...
The other night I considered sleeping in the basement due to the hot weather here in Seattle (getting into the upper 80s-90s) but when I did a preliminary where to lay down/what to lay on, I found yet another sub-adult Black Widow amoung the cushons. While I'm not ususally afraid of spiders, I am intimidated by Black Widows, and decided to sleep up stairs. ˇ
