some European ham

Ah.. you might want to be a little more specific, given how many regional variations on the theme there tend to be per country, let alone across the entire continent. ^_^;

I love a good market. They're still strong in Germany, though somewhat less so in England, but with some healthy exceptions, like Borough Market in London, which is quite a foodie haven these days. I'd love to see the return of street food stalls, too, which seemed quite absent from Hamburg when I was last there, several years back - there's plenty to be said for just a good, hot bratwurst, a little slice of baguette, and a dash of mustard. =:9 Thankfully, all that's alive and well in Singapore and Malaysia, though again, it's been a few years since I was there. (Hoping to remedy that in the coming months)

Cheese! Oh, such a glorious range.. I admit, I'm not all that familiar with German cheeses, but France's are legendary, and the UK sports a rather wonderful spread as well, from the gentle tanginess of Caerphilly, to the take-no-prisoners creaminess of Stinking Bishop. As with beer, I'm constantly amazed by the sheer diversity that's possible, given basically the same few original ingredients. ^_^
