European cons (sf or furry) are very nice: for some reason the attendees are more polite and considerate and more open and welcoming than US cons. I've never been to an American convention where it was so easy to talk with people I didn't know.

Berlin will be interesting (as I've said countless times, I will dearly miss Magdeburg). Hopefully there will be an airport there by next August. I am looking forward to exploring Berlin (I've never been). As for the con, same crew so it should be great regardless of the venue change. This is the one convention I'd try to keep if I gave up all others.

Town & Country: ugh. I think I've blocked that from my consciousness.
