furtech | Notes for the day

I finally manage to check LJ today and several things stand out: a baby hyena was born; a friend's father is in the hospital; a once-sick guinea pig is now a fat, happy guinea pig. The first two, particularly the second, truly remind me how priorities and what we think is of paramount importance can change in a moment. The abstract and devisive nature of politics pales when someone we love gets hurt. Prayers and dog karma to Lyosha and her dad.

The guinea pig just makes me smile.
