I'm Doomed

Thanks to a heads-up from [livejournal.com profile] auryanne, I now know why someone posted (on my youtube vid) that there -are- female worgen in World of Warcraft: there is a big rumor that one of the next player-races could be the Worgen . If the ones discussing this are right, it's possible that the Worgen race would be an -Alliance- race, too! Goblins=Horde; Worgen=Alliance because of balance, their origins beyond Arugal's summoning and the fact that the masks look more poofy than current worgen design. Alliance Worgen?! Weird.

That was the one thing that could have gotten me into WoW. Doomed! (sings the "Doom Song" now)

I -was- surprised at how much rancor there is towards the thought of a worgen player-race, but then some of the commentors noted that ANY discussion about new player races results in irrational foaming-at-the-mouth by some posters. My favorite post/comment: "The bad: can you imagine all the furry porn this will generate? The good: can you imagine all the furry porn this will generate?" Bwa!

Maybe I will take Rolf* down and parade around a little.

In Silverpine forest there is a walled-off area called Gilneas. It's rumored that they all became Worgen. I don't know what to make of it myself... personally I will not be surprised if Worgen/Goblins (if they are the new races) can be either Alliance or Horde.

Yeah there's also the Scythe of Elune questline that would suggest Alliance affiliation.

And I have that same art book, it's great :D

Yeah, Gilneas and the Scythe were mentioned muchly in the Alliance argument...when they weren't arguing about whether this was actually going to happen or not...

Oh, and the prize part of the win was $50 in Blizzard Store credit...and that art book is...$50! And it was something I almost bought last time, so it was all good!
