To be honest, I have no idea if they are hyenas or not: they have hyena-shaped ears and a canine shout and claws, but they also have stripes and it really is unlikely that someone would make a *hyena* for a pop-type stuffie. But they look more like hyenas than anything else (and weider things have been made into plush!).
